As we all know, the Day of Thanks is coming up. Just around the corner in fact. That sentence should make us all smile, very big. Lately I have been thinking about everything I have to be thankful for. The list is so long, that I have to shorten it to fit within this post. Not only do I love the Day of Thanks for all of the delicious food I get, but also because it is a day of love, thankfulness, and a day spent with family.
So my list of things to be thankful for is forth-coming, but first I have to blog about my awesome, incredible, amazing new job! That awesome new job is... American Express!
Can I get a "woot woot?" Seriously guys, it is the best job ever! AMEX (that's a code word we employees use for American Express) is such an awesome career path. Not only do they value their CM's (card members), they also value their employees! There are seriously great benefits and services offered with every single one of the cards that they offer, and AMEX always backs up their products and their CM's. [Side note: Did I mention how awesome they are, and how much I love my job?] So... I seriously encourage those of you who don't have an American Express card to look into them, and think really hard about getting one. Lemme list just a few free benefits/services that are associated with some cards just to help you out (or nudge you towards that direction).
Extended Warranty
Purchase Protection (Full refunds!)
Roadside Assist
Baggage Protection (for lost luggage)
Travel Delay (AMEX will totally pay for a hotel if your flight is delayed or canceled. I know, it's great!)
So, you all get my point by now. And there are tons of other benefits and services offered. You guys will just have to either call and ask about it, or look on their website. Happy hunting!
Now to the main point of this post- my list of things to be thankful for!
1). My family. First and foremost; no doubt.
2). My awesome job.
3). Being healthy
4). Wonderful friends
5). Education
6). A love for laughing
7). Diet Coke (I really, really love diet coke)
8). The ability to love
9). My love for music
10). The freedom to be myself, and allow room for personal growth.
That was my top ten, but like I said- the list goes on and on. I'm also very grateful that we allow at least one day a year to stop and remember everything we're grateful for. It's a great, and very humbling experience.
Welcome Day of Thanks.
